Membership at Tabernacle Baptist Church

Baptism

For persons who have been saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and desire to obey Christ by being scripturally baptized by immersion.

Letters From Another Baptist Church

For persons who are saved, have been baptized by immersion after salvation, and are members in good standing of another Baptist church will transfer them by letter to TBC (we will handle transfer of the letter)

Statement of Faith

For persons who are saved and have been baptized by immersion after salvation but are not members of another Baptist Church.

Sunday School

All Sunday School Classes start 9:15 AM

Adult Sunday School

Our Adult Sunday School classes offer a smaller, more personal setting to study God’s Word and build lasting relationships within the church family. Recognizing that faith is a lifelong journey, we provide a variety of classes tailored to different life stages.

Children’s Sunday School

Our Bridge Kidz ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade. Each Sunday, we provide a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment uniquely designed for kids to encounter Jesus on their level and grow in their faith.

Youth Sunday School

Our Youth Sunday School is a dedicated space for middle and high school students to dive deeper into the Bible and navigate the unique challenges of teenage life. Each Sunday morning, we move beyond the surface, engaging in honest conversations and group studies that make the Gospel relevant to where students are right now.
Our Little Builders is for Children Birth- Pre-K and is uniquely designed for kids to meet Jesus on their level. Every Sunday all children experience safe, fun and age appropriate environments that help kids know Jesus and grow their faith.

Bridge Kidz is designed for students in Grades K–5 to encounter Jesus on their level. Every Sunday and Wednesday, we provide safe, fun, and age-appropriate environments where children can discover who Jesus is and grow deep roots in their faith.

At Tabernacle Youth, we believe the teenage years are a vital time for students to discover who God created them to be. Designed for students in 6th through 12th grade, our group provides a warm, relaxed space where teenagers can show up exactly as they are, build genuine friendships, and tackle the big questions of life and faith together.

Young-at-Heart

Senior Adult Ministry

Young-at-Heart is the name given to the senior adults at Tabernacle Baptist Church. This is a group of folks who are age 55 and over, and the term "young at heart" certainly does reflect the attitudes of "members of the greatest generation".t

We have programs designed to meet and/or enhance the spiritual needs of senior adults. We fellowship on the first Thursday of each month at the Swann Center or other designated locations. Refer to the bulletin insert the first of each month for other news.

Activities

  • Annual Peach Picking Trip in July
  • Annual Apple Picking Trip in September at Toccoa Baptist Center (a favorite trip!)
  • Day trips throughout the year
  • Senior adult visitation program

Women's Ministry

Women Humbly Encouraging Women
Vision Statement

To help guide ALL women to enhance their personal behaviors, personal relationships, and devotion to God so that others will see Jesus Christ and God will be glorified.

Guidelines for the Vision
  • Encourage women to seek the scriptures as the foundation for living out daily lives.
  • Enable women to understand the difference between the roles of women and men so each can be used by Him.
  • Equip women to find and use their God-given gifts and abilities to serve in our communities as disciples for Him.
  • Empower women to influence others through their Godly behavior.

Brotherhood

Men's Ministry

All men are invited to join us each Wednesday night at 7:00 PM in the Swann Center for Men's Ministry. We will be focused on how God intends to grow men into who like Christ in their home, workplace, and community.
