We are constantly looking for new opportunities to minister to our community. Currently, we focus on feeding the athletic teams of local schools, showing appreciation to our teachers in a variety of ways, and providing Christmas gifts to local children in need. On September 1, 2019, Hurricane Dorian devastated the island of Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas. Tabernacle is directly connected to Green Turtle through a family member of the church. Seeking to help with restoration, we mobilized and sent a support team in December 2019. From that first trip, we have sent one to two teams every year. Our primary focus has been Vacation Bible School to share the gospel with the children. Recently, we have focused more on the youth of the island with a youth conference in January 2026 that saw 11 youth come to salvation in Christ.
